History of the Department of propaedeutics of internal diseases No. 1

Since 1920, the Department began to function as an independent Department. The head of the Department was the honored scientist, corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, doctor of medical Sciences, Professor Moisey Ilich Slonim (1985-1947). From 1926 to 1935, he headed the Department of N. I. Rogoza. From 1934 to 1942, Professor Heinrich frantzevich Mankus was the head of the Department. G. F. Mankus graduated from the Saratov medical Institute in 1917. In 1934, he was awarded the academic title of Professor. Author of 50 scientific papers on the problems of liver, bowel and pancreatic pathology. Prepared 9 candidates of science.

From 1942 to 1971, the head of the Department was the honored scientist, corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, doctor of medical Sciences, Professor Nosir Ismoilovich Ismoilov. Nasyr Ismailovich Ismailov (1901-1974) doctor of medical Sciences, Professor, corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic, honored scientist. In 1929, he graduated from the medical faculty of SAGU. In 1935, he was awarded the degree of candidate of medical Sciences, and in 1947 he defended his doctoral dissertation. Author of 109 scientific papers on regional pathology. His textbooks on internal diseases, guidelines on patient care and monographs on tuberculosis, as well as the monographs “Heliotropic toxicosis (toxic hepatitis with ascites)” and “on intestinal diseases in Central Asia”played an important role in the training of personnel. Under the leadership of N. I. Ismailov, the staff of the Department published more than 350 scientific papers, including 8 monographs and 3 collections of the clinic’s works. From 1971 to 1976 the Head of the Department of propedeutics of internal diseases №1 medical faculty was a member of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, doctor of medical Sciences Professor Munira Sagidullaevna Turangawaewae. Munira Sagidullaevna Tursunkhodjaeva (1921-1976) doctor of medical Sciences, Professor, honored worker of science -a student of the same Department. In 1941 he graduated from the Tashkent state medical Institute. She defended her PhD thesis in 1950 and her doctorate in 1955. Author of 45 scientific papers. Scientific research was aimed at studying vitamin metabolism in normal and pathological conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, cardiovascular diseases. The questions of diagnostics and treatment of diseases of the circulatory system in the age aspect were studied. Under the guidance of Prof. Tursunkhodzhaevoi M. S. was defended 2 doctoral and 11 PhD theses. At this time, associate professors A. Khasanov, a.m. Shadmanov, assistants M. Yu.Saidova, N. G. Sultanova, Ya . s . Khalilova, A. Ismailova, sh.g. Mukminova, A. 3iyamkhodzhayeva, N. N., Nasritdinova, R. F. Khairova, H. I. Halmeeva worked at the Department.

In 1976-1980, Professor Erkin Yuldashevich Kasimov, doctor of medical Sciences, headed the Department. Erkin Yuldashevich Kasymov (1933-2007) – candidate of medical Sciences, Professor, honored worker of health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In 1957 he graduated from the Tashkent state medical Institute. He defended his PhD thesis in 1967. In 1990, he was awarded the academic title of Professor. Author of more than 500 scientific papers. In 1984-1991, chief doctor of the Central Bank No. 1 of the MSO of the Ministry of health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, since 1990, head. Department of propaedeutics of internal diseases 2 TASHMI.

Scientific research was conducted on the problem of early manifestations and treatment of heart and liver lesions in patients with chronic alcoholism. Much attention was given to the issues of pathogenesis, clinical course of liver syndrome in chronic colitis and features of the course of cardiovascular diseases and diseases of the gastrointestinal tract in elderly and senile people in Uzbekistan. Many students and doctors are familiar with the monograph ” Recognition of heart diseases (difficulties of private and differential diagnosis)”, co-authored by I. Y. Kasymov. He has trained 6 doctors and 31 candidates of science.

In 1980 – 1997 he headed the Department doctor of medical Sciences Professor Rahila Abzalova Karabaev. Rakhilya abzalovna Karabayeva (1928) doctor of medical Sciences, Professor. In 1951 he graduated from the Tashkent state medical Institute. She defended her PhD thesis in 1955 and her doctorate in 1972. she is the Author of about 100 scientific papers. Scientific research was devoted to rheumatology. Under her leadership, the task of the Committee and the Institute of rheumatology AMS USSR the work is done on the topic of “a Study of the prevalence of rheumatic fever and the effect of various environmental factors in the conditions of the Hungry steppe (for example, Jizzakh region) and to develop effective measures of prevention.” On the initiative of R. A. Karabayeva, since 1986, a seminar-meeting has been held annually on the most topical issues of diagnosis, treatment, prevention and medical examination of rheumatological diseases. During this period, she published more than 70 works on rheumatology, published a textbook for students on propaedeutics of internal diseases in Uzbek, published 1 monograph, and trained dozens of highly qualified rheumatologists. Under her guidance, a who graduate student from Bangladesh successfully defended his PhD in rheumatology. Employees of the Department participated in 4 international conferences and symposiums. From 1997 to 2000, Abror Khatamovich Abdullayev, doctor of medical Sciences, was the head of the Department. During this period the Department led the work of Professor R. A. In 1990, the Head of the Department of propaedeutics of internal diseases of the First Tashkent State medical Institute was Professor R. A. Karabayeva. in 2000, this Department was headed by Professor M. S. Karimov.

The head of the Department of propaedeutics of internal diseases of the Second Tashkent State medical Institute was Professor E. Yu. Kosimov .

From 2005 to 2014, the Department of propaedeutics of internal diseases, Hematology, occupational diseases, military field therapy and the Department of higher nursing was headed by an excellent Health worker, Professor Sherzod yahyaevich Zakirkhodzhaev. sh. ya. Zokirkhodzhaev conducted research on the topic “Gastroenterology, Hepatology, dietology and clinical immunology”. sh. Ya. Zakirkhodzhaev published more than 370 scientific papers, 5 monographs, 1 academic literature. zokirkhuzhaev prepared 2 candidates of science and 3 doctors of science.

In 2005, in connection with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Tashkent medical Academy was established on the basis of the first and Second Tashkent medical institutes. In 2015, 2 departments were United and headed by Professor Karimov Maruf Shakirovich. Marif Shakirovich Karimov (born in 1958) doctor of medical Sciences. In 1982 he graduated from Tashkent state medical Institute. In 1987, he defended his candidate’s thesis, and in 1998, his doctoral thesis. Maruf Shakirovich is the author of more than 300 scientific articles, more than 50 teaching AIDS. He prepared 22 candidates of science and 2 doctors of science. In 1992-1996, head. TsNIL, since 2001 Vice-rector for scientific work of the Institute, since 2019 Vice-rector for medical work of the Tashkent medical Academy. The Department continues research on rheumatology, works on the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases.

From 2019 to the present, the head of the Department is doctor of medical Sciences, associate Professor hilola Tukhtasinovna Mirakhmedova. In 2003, she defended her PhD thesis on the topic: “Reactive arthritis of urogenital etiology clinic, course, treatment prognosis depending on the phenotypes of haptoglobin and blood group AV0” in the specialty 14.00.05-internal diseases

In 2018. she defended her doctoral dissertation (Doctor of Science) on the topic: “issues of diagnosis, pathogenesis of psoriatic arthritis and development of complex therapy” in the specialty 14.00.05 – Internal diseases and 14.00.11 – Dermatology and venereology (medical Sciences).
