Main complaints: pain and dysuria. Palpation of the kidneys, a symptom of Pasternatsky. Modern laboratory and instrumental research. General urinalysis, abnormal urinary sediment. This lesson became an important stage in the students’ education, allowing them to deepen their knowledge of methods for diagnosing kidney diseases and develop practical skills.
During the lesson, the main methods of kidney examination, instrumental and laboratory diagnostic methods were considered. Special attention was paid to the complaints of patients with kidney diseases. The students showed great interest in the topic, actively answered questions, prepared presentations and interactive games, analyzed clinical cases and shared their observations. The students not only consolidated their theoretical knowledge, but also learned how to properly conduct a clinical assessment of kidney function.
